Clients are seen by appointment only.
On Mondays, I am available for teletherapy sessions only.
I offer in-person or teletherapy sessions Tuesday through Thursday.
Appointments are typically scheduled between the hours of 9am and 4pm.
Your first session is called an intake, and is about 60 minutes long. During this session, I’ll make sure you know your rights as a client and how confidentiality laws protect your privacy in our work together. I’ll explain my policies and answer any questions you have about the process of therapy. We’ll talk about the concerns that you’ve been experiencing and I’ll assess symptoms like feelings of sadness, overwhelming worry, sleep problems, and more. I’ll also ask about your background like your childhood, your family history, and any difficult experiences in your life which continue to impact you today. At the end of the session, we’ll talk about your goals for therapy and which techniques we can use in our work to help you reach those goals.
Regular therapy sessions are usually 45-60 minutes long, dependent upon the focus of the session and the techniques we use. Typically, I meet with clients weekly or biweekly until we start to make some progress. We will check in regularly about your goals and our progress in reaching them. During our work together, I welcome your feedback about how your therapy is going - you are the expert on what is working for you!
